Located in the heart of beautiful Mohican Country, Trails End Retreat is the perfect getaway. The 5-acre property was newly renovated in 2025. We've added a beautiful outdoor patio with a wood burning fireplace, pond dock, and hot tub. Bring your furry family members, including horses. The entire area around the pond is safely fenced for dogs. There is a half acre pasture with run-in shelter for horses to stay on property. Saddle up and ride, or throw on your hiking gear, and explore some of the most beautiful trails in the Mohican State Forest. You can access the Blue Trail less than 3/4 of a mile away. Trails End Retreat also offers guests a stocked fishing pond, corn hole, pizza oven, Weber grill, and Blackstone. Inside you will find TWO well equipped kitchens that makes meal prepping for multiple families very convenient. Sleeping arrangements include- 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, 1 bedroom with two twin beds, and a sleeper sofa. There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 half bath inside. There is another full bathroom accessible in the barn area (which is great when guests include RV campers on property). There are 4 available RV hookups that can be arranged through the owner after booking. We also have a bunkhouse, with 2 twin beds, that is included with the rental (linens for the bunkhouse are not included). Trails End Retreat offers beautiful views, peace, tranquility, and is less than 5 miles from all of the canoe livery action.

Summary: A beautiful property near Mohican State Park and Loudenville, OH, Trails End Retreat is an absolutely beautiful place for a group to gather. We were in town for a family wedding, and had multiple families staying together. We felt like we were staying in a place that could be featured on HGTV—beautiful inside and out. We all slept comfortably, and we had plenty of room to spread out, gather, and get ready. The host was proactive, attentive, and added touches like a welcome basket that exceeded our expectations. This was an exceptional find and we highly recommend it.

Summary: This is an absolutely beautiful property with peaceful environment and surrounding community. Having the outdoor space to hang out on the patio with the outdoor fireplace was a neat experience and it was also where we spent most of our time. It was also nice to have the pond available to swim.

Summary: We had 6 adults and 2 children (7&12) with my SILs parents and brother stopping out, at this house for our yearly long weekend trip. This house beyond met our expectations! Everything you could possibly need was there! 2 full kitchen and an extra bathroom out in the horse stalls! Everything was clean and beautiful! We spent most of our days outside at the outdoor living area and at night upstairs at the large gathering table and fireplace. We are a family that loves to play games and there were 3 large table areas for us! I cannot recommend this property enough! The host was so helpful and easy to get ahold of! Close to town maybe a 7 min drive to Mohican adventures!

Summary: We found this property and fell in love before we even arrived! Everything was clean and well kept. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, from board games for the indoors, fishing equipment and outdoor games! Each floor had a fully functioning kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and supplies. We spent our evenings outside with a fire gazing the moon and its reflection on the stocked pond. We can’t say enough positive things about Trails End Retreat, we will be back!

Summary: Deb was a fantastic host and great communicator. Most importantly, the place was spectacular, clean, and very well stocked with many necessities! Perfect for a getaway weekend, hanging outside together, and enjoying the outdoors with all the goodies (fireplace, tv, hot tub, bar) you could ever want. 10/10!!!

Summary: Had a great time staying and enjoyed the view. The host was very nice and was very helpful if we needed anything. The house was very clean and more than enough room for everyone. The out door patio was everyone favorite spot to be . Would love to come back again.
